Bought a copy in my lunch hour and read it surrupticiously whilst our Deputy Head droned on (Training day today)

I nearly got caught out though as I snorted with laughter at one point but managed to turn it into a fit of coughing. Many thanks, it really is hard to put down.

I read it on the plane to Moscow yesterday. Well done. It was all stuff that needed saying.

What an excellent read, I thoroughly enjoyed it and it speaks for us all. I hope it makes you lots of money. It would be great if it was read by all especially those in Government!!! Can't you send them a few copies just to get the ball rolling?

I agree wholeheartedly with the previous comment (having just read the book myself, of course - see my 'review' amongst your Aug 18th comments list).

Why *not* post a free copy to Mr T.Blair at 10 Downing Street? He could certainly do with reading it! (Or perhaps a copy addressed to Mrs C.Blair at the same address might be a better bet...)

It looks compulsive reading for a friend of mine who is a teacher, a great Xmas present for him.

My copy arrived last week from Amazon, had read it within a couple of days. I'm a Police Officer and work with a local senior school. Its the only state senior school within the London borough I work at. I'd have sworn you were talking about that school when I was reading your book! Who knows? Maybe you were.....

Mr C,

I noticed over on the TES forum that on 3rd August you said you were sending a copy of your book to Education Secretary Alan Johnson.

Have you had a reply back from him yet? If so, what does he have to say?

Have read the book and thought it was hilarious. As someone who has to fix up work experience placements for the worst kids in my school I loved that bit.It really tickled me. I also loved the stuff about parents evening - the worst night of the year as far as i'm concerned.

I've just read it and rarely have I laughed out loud so much at a book. Hope you have managed to find gainful employment (whatever that means) and are enjoying not being in the first week of the new term.

Congratulations on getting your book into stores! I have had very limited success with my book, and it is in one major store, one teacher's supply store, and 2 used book stores.

Cheers!

Bought it and not yet read it. It'd better be good or else...
